Birthday celebrations often involve around a dozen friends getting together for a fun activity. You've probably already tried bowling and go-karting so now why not try fresh air and a healthy, fun activity with superb group photos?

Birthday party ... why not?

"My grandma rides a bike...." is the beginning of a french song. Le Grand Huit takes great pleasure in sharing your celebrations at events such as Granny's 80th birthday with young and old all on bikes. Or even having 3 generations, from age 10 to 70, all on paddle boards. And believe us, it's not usually Grandma or Grandpa who fall in!

Looking for a really original way to celebrate your wedding?

Without a doubt weddings are our speciality; in April we are hiring out our most beautiful tandem for photos with a bride and groom; in May we are welcoming hen parties for bike rides and stag parties for Stand Up Paddle ( as well as the other way round); in June we are hiring out tandems and bikes with our best bells for the procession between the town hall and the church and during the party young and old will have a go on our novelty bicycles. It's only during the honeymoon that we don't get involved! 

Family gatherings

At our base by the river or in a place of your choosing we would like to suggest a highly original activity, not seen before and very trendy for your family event: Le Grand Huit's novelty bicycles. We encourage all ages to try out the different models from the smallest to the biggest .

How do I book my activity?

Depending on which activity you'd like to book send us an email with details of approximately how many people there will be and the date and time you'd prefer. You'll find the prices on the activity pages on the internet site. 

We are close to the town but by the water and in the midst of calm and greenery; you can enjoy lunch or dinner on the spot or just have a drink on the lovely waterside terrace.
